Handpainted by Los Angeles artist Nicholette Kominos. Inspired by the salt mines of Dallol, Ethiopia, Kominos used metallics to create this one-of a kind design. Limited edition collar in aqua plastic. Black grosgrain ribbon ties at back.
About the Artist: Nicholette is inspired by feminism and the Arte Povera movement. She experiments with plain and utilitarian materials to evoke memory and psychological associations. The sparseness in her work creates room for contemplation and allows small details to reveal their significance. Her work has been featured at SoLA in Los Angeles, Chiyoda Arts Center in Tokyo, and is in the permanent collection at the Long Beach Museum of Art.
